The
Academy for Educational Development (AED), an independent, non-profit
service organization, is committed to solving critical social problems
throughout the world. Since 1961, AED has addressed these through
education, social marketing, research, training, policy analysis,
information technologies, communication, and behavior change programs.
AED has extensive experience in coastal management, ecotourism, water
demand management, agricultural water use efficiency, watershed management,
and hygiene improvement and is the prime contractor for GreenCOM II,
WEPIA, and KAFA’A. AED employs1200 people worldwide on more
than 250 programs serving 150 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin
America, the Middle East, and throughout the United States. |
