Photo 1: (Photos 1-3) Close to Valle de Angeles, Honduras. Upper Watershed of the Rio Choluteca. These photos demonstrate post-Mitch damage. This was a very small intermittent stream channel, a quebrada. Previously there was a slightly discernible channel. In the first rains (which lasted for three continuous days in this region) the channel was widened as a result of carrying large flood flows
