BACKGROUND
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
CURRENT STATUS
  • Provide adequate and thorough training to MWI and WAH technical staff engineers and financial officers on the WAJ cost recovery model that was previously developed by FORWARD;
  • Develop a User's Manual for the model;
  • Ensure that senior management understand the model, its uses, and operational requirements for financial planning;
  • Work with MWI and WAH Senior Management to develop future pricing scenarios;
  • Provide technical assistance to MWI and WAJ during MWI discussions with international donors and other government agencies to present these scenarios and the underlying MWI policies; and
  • Based on these discussions, provide the MWI and WAH with Technical Assistance to help develop an Action Plan for cost recovery and pricing of water and wastewater services.
