- Promote collaborative approaches to strategic
planning and joint problem-solving in the water sector;
- Advance key water sector policy reforms through
expanded stakeholder participation;
- Foster innovative public-private partnerships
and increase private sector participation, including financial participation,
in water and agricultural development in the ANE region; and
- Support the development and dissemination
of innovative approaches to water development that increase water
use efficiency and better manage demand for water.
By promoting collaborative, integrated approaches
to solving water problems, activities carried out under this Task
Order can help ease political and strategic tension in the ANE region,
as well as help support continued economic development and expand
U.S. investment and export opportunities in the water sector.
