- Identify successful, and potentially replicable,
policy, institutional mechanisms, technical interventions, and financial
(market-based) approached to support effective watershed management;
- Identify watershed management approaches which
failed to meet expectations and understand why;
- Provide policy and programmatic recommendations
for USAID’s consideration in ongoing and/or future watershed
management programs; and
- Better understand the key factors contributing
to watershed degradation.
