WATERSHED MANAGEMENT IN CENTRAL AMERICA |

This project was recently extended to develop guidelines
for IWRM program design professionals and water management authorities
in the basic principles of economic valuation of water resources as
it relates to program design and implementation. This document will
have a special focus on Central American water valuation experiences.
A training and informational document on environmental valuation techniques
was also recently finished. This document analyzed cost – benefit
analysis of previous projects and provided guidelines that can be used
in future valuation projects. The guidelines focused mainly on valuation
techniques in Central America. |
