Obtaining Services
The DAI Team can provide short-, medium-, or long-term technical assistance under the Water IQC. The task order system is the basis for obtaining our services:

Step One: A USAID mission or the Global Bureau prepares a scope of work (SOW) for a task order within the framework and scope of the Water IQC.
Step Two: The proposed SOW is submitted to the USAID/Washington Cognizant Technical Officer (CTO), who reviews the technical aspects of the work and confirms it fits the topics covered by the IQC. After receiving concurrence from the USAID/W CTO, the appropriate Contracting Officer and the CTO in the requesting mission or bureau determine the criteria for selecting a contractor for the proposed task order.
Step Three: Task orders under $4 million can be awarded on the basis of past performance and experience of the DAI Team. Selection criteria can also include, at the discretion of the Contracting Officer, personnel, cost, and technical approach. For all task orders more than $4 million or where technical approach and cost will be evaluated, a proposal from each contractor will be requested. USAID Contracting Officers should refer to Contract No. LAG-I-00-99-00017-00 when submitting a request for Water IQC services.
